Our Comorian Masala Samosa, a 100% authentic spice blend, hand-prepared by Maman Samboussa, an iconic 64-year-old cook with over 44 years of experience in Comorian wedding feasts.
This flavorful spice mix is the well-kept secret behind the most fragrant and delicious Comorian samboussa. Passed down through generations, it embodies the spirit of togetherness, celebration, and the love of good food.
A perfectly balanced blend of:
Curry, salt, cumin, turmeric, sweet pepper, coriander, cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla, and nutmeg – all finely ground to unleash their full aromatic power.

For the perfect samboussa filling, you'll need (in addition to our Masala):
🥩 Ground beef or 🐟 tuna,
🧅 Sliced onions,
🫒 Oil,
And brick pastry sheets (preferably SPRING HOME).
Gently sauté the onions in a drizzle of oil until translucent.
Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of our Comorian Masala Samosa.
Stir in the ground beef or tuna.
Simmer until the filling is cooked and no moisture remains.
Place a brick sheet on your work surface.
Cut it into three equal strips.
Place a spoonful of the cooled filling at one end of a strip.
Fold into a triangle, alternating sides (like a flag) until the end.
Seal the tip securely.
Fry in hot oil (150°C) for 4 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
